Finder Fee

We invoice £40 once a seller accepts your offer. This finder fee covers our service of connecting buyers and sellers.

Important: Seller contact details (name and email) are emailed to you after the invoice is paid. You then contact the seller directly to arrange payment for the plate and complete the DVLA transfer yourselves.

Payment Process

1.

Make an Offer

Submit your offer for a number plate through our platform

2.

Offer Accepted

Once the seller accepts your offer, we'll send you a £40 finder fee invoice

3.

Pay Finder Fee

Pay the £40 invoice via bank transfer, card, or PayPal

4.

Receive Seller Details

After payment, we'll email you the seller's contact details

5.

Complete Transaction

Contact the seller directly to arrange plate payment and DVLA transfer

Refund Policy

Our finder fee is non-refundable once seller details have been released. However, if we are unable to provide seller contact details after payment, we will issue a full refund.

If a seller withdraws their listing after your offer has been accepted but before details are released, we will refund your finder fee in full.

All refund requests must be made within 7 days of payment. Please contact us at info@buyprivatenumberplate.co.uk for refund inquiries.
